US-based Inovar Packaging Group has extended its product capabilities through the acquisition of compatriot Kiliper for an undisclosed sum.

Kiliper produces stretch sleeves, roll-fed labels, polybags, and printed film products.

It operates as a second-generation, family-run company with expertise in wide-web flexo printing and converting.

The company supplies products to customers working in various sectors, such as food and beverage, pet food, household chemicals, industrial supplies, and janitorial and sanitation.

Kiliper is managed by siblings Tom Kiliper and Lindsay Maysent, who will continue in their roles as co-presidents.

Kiliper and Maysent said: “Kiliper has always been built on strong customer relationships, high-quality execution, and continuous investment in our capabilities. Partnering with Inovar allows us to continue to build on that foundation, broaden our offerings, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

The transaction is part of Inovar’s growth strategy to invest in new labelling technologies. It expands the company’s presence in the Midwest.

Inovar CEO Jeff Brezek commented: “As we grow, we continue to pursue strategic acquisitions and partner with leadership teams that align with our values, enhance our technical capabilities, and expand the solutions we offer our customers.

“Kiliper meaningfully expands our platform into stretch sleeves, roll-fed labels, and printed film applications, while complementing our existing manufacturing capabilities. Just as important, Kiliper brings a strong, values-driven culture centred on customer partnership, quality, and long-term relationships.”

Last year, Inovar acquired ModTek, a label production business in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.

ModTek focuses on pressure-sensitive and extended content labels for markets such as food, beverages, and consumer goods.
