US-based electronics packaging solutions provider Polycase has introduced the new YQ Series of NEMA-rated electrical junction boxes to proectt electrical components from harsh environments.
The boxes are available in eight sizes ranging from 6in by 4in to 16in by 14in. They are moulded from impact-resistant polycarbonate and feature stainless steel screws designed for corrosion resistance, a waterproofing closed-cell gasket, and a cover available opaque or clear.

The electrical enclosures are surface-mountable and suitable for marine, water treatment, utility, alternative energy, or in any environment that needs non-corrosive, waterproof enclosures.
They meet NEMA type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 specifications and IP68 of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60529 requirements.
Polycase has experience in CNC machining and printing and can apply cutouts including threaded holes and graphics to enclosures.
The company offers more than 2,100 variations of enclosures from simple potting boxes to heavy-duty industrial NEMA-rated electronic enclosures.
