Coke bottler Coca-Cola Femsa has announced plans to invest $29.8m to add a PET packaging line at its facility in Jundiai, São Paulo, Brazil.

The new line is expected to produce up to 72,000 bottles per hour, and increase the plant’s production volume by around 12%.

Coca-Cola Femsa director of supply chain Carlos Gonzalez said that the line will produce 25cl, 40cl and 60cl bottles and will expand the company’s ability to meet the demand for PET container.
