
Prometheus Retail Solutions has acquired the packaging and retail display division of PackagingARTS, a provider of primary label printing services to the food and beverage industry.
Established by John Swain and Dave Miller, PackagingARTS has been serving the premium wine, spirits, and consumer packaged goods sectors since 1995.
The company will continue to provide its primary label printing services from its California, US, offices.
PackagingARTS president and CEO Swain said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the last 30 years.
“Passing the torch to Prometheus feels like a natural next step. We’re confident this chapter will bring even more opportunity not only to our clients and team, but to the wine and spirits category as a whole.”
This acquisition aims to enhance Prometheus’s capabilities in design, engineering, manufacturing, and fulfilment by integrating PackagingARTS’ established design expertise.

Prometheus offers custom retail displays, point-of-purchase materials, in-store marketing, and packaging services.
Based in Auburn, California, US, the company collaborates with brands in the wine and spirits, food and beverage, and luxury consumer goods sectors.
