The move is aimed at facilitating more efficient, higher-volume deliveries and is indicative of the company’s efforts towards infrastructure development and growth.

The lorry acquisition is a major step in modernising Colton Packaging’s fleet, with 50% of the vehicles being updated in the last two years. The expansion of the fleet is expected to bolster the company’s ability to serve its customer base effectively.

Colton Packaging managing director Laura Colton-Smith said: “This is an exciting period of growth for the business. Modernising our fleet opens up new opportunities – both operationally and commercially – and allows us to better serve our customers while preparing for future demand.

“These investments are not just about vehicles; they’re about the future of our company and the confidence we have in where we’re heading.”
