
Seaman Paper has introduced a new line of heat-sealable, curbside recyclable paper packaging solutions.
The FSC-certified (FSC C102652) products are designed to replace single-use plastic bags, the US-based specialty papers manufacturer said.

As per the company’s statement, the new offering integrates “sustainability, durability and efficiency”.
Brands can adopt this without needing to modify their existing equipment, the statement added.
The new solutions come in different substrates, weights and formats to suit various applications and converting equipment.
They are compatible with most original equipment manufacturer form-fill-seal and horizontal flow-wrapper equipment.

In December 2024, Seaman Paper partnered with Nexgen Packaging to expand their presence in the retail, apparel and footwear industries globally, combining Nexgen’s sustainable paper-based products with Seaman’s fibre-based packaging alternatives.
Additionally, in May last year, Seaman Paper collaborated with PulPac, a developer of dry-moulded fibre (DMF) technology, to explore opportunities in personalised packaging.
The partnership focused on creating customised DMF packaging options using coloured and patterned barrier crepe paper.
