US-based packaging solutions provider Packsize has appointed Philipp Venjakob as vice president of European Sales with effect from 1 January 2026. 

Venjakob has worked at Packsize for more than a decade, holding several leadership positions spanning European sales and operations.

In his new role, he will lead the company’s European sales organisation and take responsibility for market development and customer growth across the region. 

His duties will include supporting sales momentum, managing customer relationships and overseeing growth initiatives in European markets.  

“Europe remains a core focus for Packsize, and I look forward to strengthening our presence, supporting our customers, and advancing our mission to deliver smart packaging for a healthy planet,” he noted. 

Venjakob has been involved in regional coordination efforts upon Packsize’s acquisition of Dutch packaging automation company Sparck Technologies, contributing to the integration of activities and alignment of operations across Europe.

The appointment follows Packsize’s relocation of its European headquarters to Amsterdam. 

Packsize chief revenue officer Brian Reinhart added: “Philipp has played a pivotal role in shaping our European business over the past several years. He has been instrumental in unifying our teams and building a strong foundation of leadership talent across the region. His deep experience and customer focus make him the ideal leader to continue accelerating our progress in Europe.” 

In May 2025, Packsize entered an alliance with Sitma and Paccurate to expand its market presence and capabilities in automated packaging. 

Sitma specialises in paper-based envelopes and bagging technologies. Meanwhile, Paccurate will act as Packsize’s partner for cartonisation.
