RHE’s hanger-pack line adds to the group’s range of products and is described as “environmentally friendly and sustainable”.
RHE Container Company was founded in 1951, when Aaron Feder started the business in New York City, US, with a focus on corrugated containers.
In 1961, the company moved into clothing hanger packs and wardrobe boxes and obtained its first patent.
In 2003, the business received a second patent covering a crossbar design for garment hanger packs and wardrobe boxes.
After 73 years in operation, RHE became part of President Container Group, extending the combined business’s presence in packaging for high-end garments.
President Container produces corrugated components for the patented clothing hanger packs and wardrobe boxes at its plant in Middletown, New York.
The facility uses energy from a solar farm with 19,020 panels, which the company said supports its manufacturing operations alongside ethical fibre sourcing and closed-loop recycling systems.
Tech Pak provides assembly capacity for garment hanger packs and wardrobe boxes while President Industrial Products manages distribution across the US, with particular coverage in the tri-state area.
