The change brings together the company’s Canadian businesses, ICS Jos. Le Bel and ICS Great Western, with Questar’s US distribution operation, all of which will now operate under the Questar name across North America.
The reorganisation broadens its distribution footprint and links its Canadian warehouse network with Questar’s existing operating model in the US.
According to the announcement, Questar Canada will work through strategically placed distribution centres in Canada and will provide local warehouse management and short-turn delivery.
The Canadian operation will hold higher inventory levels and form part of a wider cross-border distribution system intended to support supply availability.
Products and services available through Questar Canada include industrial packaging distribution, UN-certified performance packaging, and steel and plastic drums.
It also covers absorbents, cubic-yard corrugated boxes, lab pack boxes, plastic pails, poly woven bags, and spill containment products.
Questar senior vice-president and general manager Rob Spencer said: “This expansion is a pivotal chapter for Questar and our customers, reflecting our ongoing commitment to delivering greater value across North America.
“By adding Questar Canada to our network, we’re enhancing our service capabilities and ensuring customers throughout the region have improved access to the solutions and support they need to succeed.”
