Central to customer-facing improvements is an expanded decorating facility, which opened in August 2024 and is scaling up to meet growing commercial orders.

Newly commissioned screen printing equipment applies precious metal, organic, and ceramic inks, meeting brand demand for premium finishes through bespoke print and spray techniques.

The company highlighted that while high-temperature ceramic applications fuse into the glass to maximise print longevity, organic inks provide a cost-effective alternative across diverse colour options.

Beatson Clark is pairing these decorating services with fresh container portfolios aimed at expanding personal care, spirits, and homeware segments.

On the factory floor, the producer said it has become the first glass packaging manufacturer in the UK to introduce specialised air curtains for hot end swabbing operations.

The system actively clears contaminants from operator breathing zones rather than depending exclusively on personal protective equipment.

After an initial trial on a single line, management extended the technology across the entire manufacturing site, where real-time monitoring demonstrated a roughly 95% reduction in airborne particulates, claims the manufacturer.

Logistical flexibility underpins the remaining expenditure, with the company committing more than £3.6m ($4.83m) across the next 12 months to install four Euro palletisers.

The machines accommodate standard industrial pallets alongside smaller Euro formats.

The company believes this will bolster trade conducted in coordination with European sister business Pont Packaging, as well as its wider international distribution network.
