Flexible liquid packaging solutions provider Liqui-Box is set to introduce the new Torrent bag-in-box strip bag filler.

Liqui-Box developed Torrent after completing a specific market survey of its customers. The filler is aimed at eliminating any gaps in the market for bag-in-box packaging and loading that are currently unavailable.

Torrent project lead designer John Hildebrand said: “Torrent was a collaborative effort by several internal groups within Liqui-Box, from marketing, to engineering and service.

“The focus of the design process was to address current customer needs, as well as anticipating options, and configurations the industry will need in the future.”

The new solution primarily addresses the concerns of tool-less adjustment in critical areas and integrated guarding.
