ND Paper has agreed to purchase Resolute Forest Products’ recycled bleached kraft pulp mill in Fairmont, West Virginia.
Valued at $55m, the acquisition will expand ND Paper’s manufacturing base and support its parent company Nine Dragons Paper Holdings’ long-term strategy of environmentally sustainable papermaking.

Armor has entered an agreement to buy receipt and label solutions provider Iconex’s thermal transfer ribbon (TTR) business and intellectual property (IP).
The companies have also signed a reseller agreement that allows Iconex to sell its TTR technology worldwide as an Armor preferred partner.
TTR’s IP includes patented formulas, including for Ultra-V.
Orora has signed an agreement to acquire Bronco Packaging Corporation for approximately $24m.
Based in Australia, Orora manufactures and supplies packaging products and services, while Bronco provides packaging for customers across the US.
The acquisition will add a strong corporate customer base to the Orora Packaging Solutions’ (OPS) network and support the expansion of OPS’ business in the North American market.
The transaction is also expected to strengthen Orora’s product capability in the food sector.
Solidus Solutions has acquired a majority interest in Northern Paper Board, a UK-based manufacturer of solid board boxes and corrugated octabin solutions for the food processing industry.
Based in the Netherlands, Solidus Solutions produces solid board and solid board packaging solutions.
Solidus Solutions has five solid board mills and six packaging plants in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and the UK.
