Using Dow’s RETAIN resin technology, ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) barrier film can be fully recycled in an effort to increase sustainability.

EVOH prevents gases, organic vapours and moisture from reducing the quality of the product, as well as extends shelf life.

Harney & Sons worked in collaboration with TC Transcontinental’s R&D team to create the new packaging solution for its fine teas.

“Our collaboration was the perfect match as sustainability and innovation run deep in our organisation, both in our operations and our partnerships.”

According to the company, the pouch’s ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) barrier can offer product preservation, seal strength and durability.
