UPM Raflatac has introduced a new Raflasec range of security labelling materials for the European market.
The new Raflasec range includes four new products, including Holo Security, Fibres, Seal and Chameleon, which are said to have a two-year shelf life from their manufacturing date.

The newly introduced label materials are available with different security, anti-counterfeiting, and tamper-proof features.
A holographic material that breaks when tampered with, Raflasec Holo Security is suitable for luxury packaging applications and can be combined with security cuts.

By GlobalDataRaflasec Fibres is made of visible and invisible fibres to enable authentication under UV light. It also contains a chemical sensitisation feature which causes the colour of the material to change when removal with chemicals is attempted.
Raflasec Seal, which tears easily, offers low investment costs, high opacity, and printability.
The purple-green Raflasec Chameleon material changes colour when removed and offers a dry-peel feature that eliminates adhesive residue.
