NanoPack, a consortium led by Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, intends to develop a new antimicrobial packaging solution that helps extend food shelf life, using €7.7m ($8.22m) of funding from the European Union (EU).
The consortium will develop and test packaging products with antimicrobial surfaces over a three-year period.
