Fortis Solutions Group has acquired US-based Action Packaging Systems, which provides pressure-sensitive prime, promotional and thermal labels to customers across the country.
Following the acquisition, Action Packaging will now operate under the Fortis Solutions Group name.

The company has operations in Connecticut and High Point, North Carolina, US.
Fortis president and CEO John Wynne, Jr said: “We are thrilled to acquire a company of the calibre of Action Packaging Systems.
“We look forward to continuing this philosophy utilising the company’s world class flexographic and digital assets. In addition, we are excited to add the Gold Seal label applicator product line to our differentiated offerings.”
Fortis, which currently has 340 employees across seven sites, proposes to continue its acquisitions in a bid to strengthen its product offerings and services.

Fortis provides pressure-sensitive labels, as well as extended booklet, variable data, multi-ply coupon and flexible packaging printing using the company’s flexographic and digital printing capabilities.
