The company is investing €100m to expand its corrugated paper manufacturing operations in Poland.
The move follows the acquisition of a 5.36m-wide paper machine at the factory in March.

Schumacher Packaging managing director Björn Schumacher said: "The paper market is subject to strong price fluctuations.
“They could not be passed on to the market, especially in the last three years. In the future we will be able to compensate for this volatility much better. Since we are improving our delivery capability, we are also securing further growth opportunities."
Myszków newspaper factory will be transformed to produce close to 300,000t of high-quality testliner and wellenstoff corrugated paper annually.
The factory's infrastructure and buildings will be renovated in accordance with the company's quality guidelines.

By GlobalDataProduction of corrugated paper at the facility is expected to begin in 2019.
Schumacher further added: "Especially during the imminent upgrading phase, we will benefit a great deal from an airfield in the immediate vicinity. In the following years, however, fast accessibility will also be very important for a company like ours which operates all over Europe.”
In addition to the new production facility, the company also owns power plant and sewage treatment plant at the site.
