The resealable Ezo Punnet is a first for the UK market, presenting a hygienic solution for storing fresh produce in the refrigerator.

The packaging offers the advantages of being resealable, even when frozen, and is stackable.
It is also claimed to have non-spill properties, which can prevent the contamination of fresh berries by other fridge contents such as raw meat and poultry.
Wellpak’s service partner Ackio will responsible for packaging berries using the Ezo Punnet product line.
Ackio is a highly-automated fruit packer, which uses advanced technologies for procurement, supply, packaging and presentation of solution to retailers.

The new packaging line for fresh berries is also expected to reduce wastage of food in the UK, which is a major issue in the country.
