Kliklok International will launch wraparound cartoning system Certiwrap Elite at the PPMA Show 2014 in Birmingham, UK.
The new product is designed to handle complex meal trays, tubs or pot shapes in various formats. The company claims that the system is ideal for full sleeves, wraparound sleeves, gusseted packs and shelf-ready display style cartons.
Equipped with a choice of twin or triple arm carton feeders for easy handling, Certiwrap Elite is designed to increase throughput rates on high-speed lines. Depending on flight pitch, it can package up to 300 cartons a minute.
A new eight-axes servo drive system helps reduce changeover times during operation by improving repeatability and avoiding operator errors when introducing new pack formats.
The system also improves access for both the operator and engineers by making it possible to access the equipment from either side of the machine. It is available in a fill wash down version, which offers protection of the equipment from dust and water ingress.
Kliklok managing director Neil Fowell said: "It is designed as an evolution of those previous models and combines our engineering expertise gained over the last 50 years and drive for innovation to create a wrap-around cartoner that stays at the forefront of carton and product control while simplifying the set-up process for manufacturers."
