Parkside is delighted to announce that is has been shortlisted in three of the most recognised and renowned industry awards programmes.

The company has been named a finalist in five categories at the UK Packaging Awards, alongside receiving two more nods at the PrintWeek Awards and FlexoTech International Print & Innovation Awards. A fantastic result so far.

UK Packaging Awards 2017

Having examined a record number of entries, the judges, including representatives from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Coca-Cola, Marks & Spencer and Mondelez, selected the UK Packaging Awards 2017 finalists including Parkside shortlisted in a number of categories:

• Flexible Pack of the Year – Shan Valley, raw snack bar
• Rigid Plastic Pack of the Year – Young’s Seafood Two Cod Fillets in Crispy Beer Batter
• Resource Efficient Pack of the Year – Rhythm 108
• Consumer Convenience Award – Handy Candy
• Best New Concept – Zoro Ready Meal pack

The ceremony for the UK Packaging Awards takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on the 22 November 2017.

FlexoTech International Print & Innovation Awards

Parkside is thrilled to have been nominated for a prestigious FlexoTech award. The pack under consideration is a Seabrook Crisps pack for the Food Heroes Chicken Jalfrezi range. It has been shortlisted in the flexible packaging (medium) printing category.

Printing categories for the awards will be judged on reproduction, the degree of difficulty and print quality by industry experts, and the winners will be announced at the FlexoTech Awards ceremony taking place on Thursday 23 November at the Hilton London Metropole hotel.

The awards shortlist doesn’t stop there though.

PrintWeek 2017 Awards

Parkside is in the running for the coveted title of FMCG Packaging Printer of the Year in the PrintWeek 2017 Awards.

A spokesperson for the PrintWeek 2017 Awards commented: “This year we received a record number of entries from across the country and making the shortlist is a tremendous achievement against extremely tough competition.”

This awards ceremony takes place on Monday 16 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
