The transaction was carried out through Saica Natur, the group’s waste management and environmental services arm.
The deal brings Municipal Packaging’s two production sites and a workforce of 75 employees into JohnsByrne.
The investment is intended to raise both output capacity and production accuracy at the Donegal facility.
The new format has been brought to market in partnership with ProPrint Group and uses a linerless fruit lid produced on Ravenwood’s Com500 Coater.
