Nearly 50 organisations support the proposed PACK Act, which would create a single national standard for packaging environmental claims across the US.
According to the company, it is the lightest Rhinewine bottle currently available in Europe.
The signatories said the rules should support “a strong, competitive, and sustainable circular plastics value chain in Europe”.
The arrangement is intended to help shift the technology from an advanced development phase towards broader use.
The company said the full-body sleeve delivers the opacity needed for safety compliance while removing the need for conventional white coloured plastic.
