Poland packaging industry registered a 13.7% decline in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 8.61% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.01% share in July 2021, recording decrease of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.8% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland packaging industry in July 2021.

Top five packaging companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 40.78% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland packaging industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Carlsberg posted 22 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 58.49% over the previous month, followed by Fujitsu General with 16 jobs and a 36% drop. Philip Morris International with 9 IT jobs and Reckitt Benckiser Group with 8 jobs, recorded a 28.57% growth and a 55.56% decline, respectively, while British American Tobacco recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.27%, down by 46.6% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 19.28% share, a decline of 48.39% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14.46% share, down 7.69% over June 2021.
