The new low carbon High Shield innovations feature more sustainable pharmaceutical sachet, stickpack, and strippack packaging that are available in both paper-based and Polyolefin-based materials.

In addition, the recycle-readiness of the advanced material meets regional demands and supports the market differentiation efforts of pharmaceutical companies.

The material is also compatible with existing filling machines, thereby removing additional investments or efficiency losses for manufacturers and packers.

Amcor Flexibles EMEA healthcare vice-president Virginie Maes said: “Amcor’s addition of more sustainable High Shield Pharma laminates in its portfolio demonstrate our unwavering commitment to innovation for the healthcare industry, as well as our promise to the environment.
