Anchor Packaging has announced the launch of a smaller version of its crisp food container.
The polypropylene container uses the same convection cross-flow technology as its predecessor. It has been designed to hold four pieces of chicken, or a variety of other fried food products.
The container features through-the-closure ventilation, raised airflow channels in the base of the container and venting in the anti-fog lid.
According to the company, the design retains internal temperatures compared to other fried food containers in use, and has been designed to withstand up to 230°F when placed in warming unit displays and under heat lamps.
The container is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, and is reusable and recyclable.
