Anritsu Industrial Solutions has developed a range of X-ray inspection systems featuring KD Series with DUAL X technology for improved foreign body detection in food.

By using KD Series of X-Ray inspection systems, meat and poultry processors will be able to detect foreign bodies and contaminants in their products.

KD-7 with DUAL X, a dual sensor technology, along with image processing algorithms simultaneously using high energy and low energy, enhances detection sensitivity to levels not previously attained by conventional methods.

"As well as KD-7 with DUAL X, Anritsu offers standard KD74 model for specific applications and liquid products and the KD74-f for dry foods."

Anritsu’s KD Series of X-Ray inspection systems will be capable of detecting the smallest bone fragments in a huge variety of food raw materials and finished poultry, beef and pork products, including fan, wish and rib bones in chicken breast meat.

As well as KD-7 with DUAL X, Anritsu offers standard KD74 model for specific applications and liquid products and the KD74-f for dry foods.

When installed prior to forming machines, Anritsu’s Pipe Line X-ray can be used for bone detection in pumpable meat, such as mince, diced pork and chicken nuggets.
