Aptar Beauty, a dispensing systems manufacturer, has introduced Maya, its new customisable aerosol actuator.
Maya is claimed to feature a clean beauty design and a fully customisable top surface that allows brands to incorporate logos, finishes, or sensorial actuation to improve the consumer experience.
The actuator comes with a twist-to-lock system, which is both easy to use and secure.
Users can twist left to open, press to spray, and then twist right to close, with an audible click indicating that the actuator is securely locked.
This feature makes Maya suitable for on-the-go applications, ensuring safety during transit.
With sustainability in mind, this hoodless solution leverages up to 56% less material compared to traditional actuators with an overcap.
This actuator is a suitable solution for dispensing spray or high-powder formulations.
Maya is adaptable across a range of spray applications.
It is particularly effective for products such as hairsprays, deodorants, body sprays, and solid powder formulations such as dry shampoos, foot sprays, and antiperspirants.
Aptar Beauty manufactured Maya at its North American facility in Cary, Illinois, and is now available to customers globally.
