US-based craft beer maker Yazoo Brewing has partnered with global glass and metal packaging solutions provider Ardagh Group (Ardagh) to design its commemorative beer bottle.
Yazoo Brewing will present the new beer bottle at the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) that will begin on 30 April in Nashville.
Featuring the Yazoo logo on the neck, the 12oz Heritage bottle will have the words ‘Ardagh Glass’ on the shoulder.
Yazoo Brewing founder and owner Linus Hall said: “We’ve been bottling since 2005, and it’s the package we know and trust. With so much care going into brewing a great beer, we feel that glass gives us the best chance to get that beer to our customers with low dissolved oxygen pickup.”
The bottle will feature the CBC 2018 decoration on the bottom and will be used for Yazoo Brewing’s main beer brands, including Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Hefeweizen, Sly Rye Porter, Hop Perfect IPA, Gerst, Pilsner, Hopry Double IPA and Sue.
Ardagh Group North American Glass division chief commercial officer Alex Robertson said: “Ardagh Group enjoys collaborating with brands to create glass packaging that showcases and protects the integrity of our customers’ products.
