Chinese pulp and paper producer Asia Symbol Jiangsu (Asia Symbol) has selected technology firm Tietoevry to upgrade its operations.

Asia Symbol will make use of TietoEVRY’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution, TIPS Industry Solutions and Services.

The solution is designed for the pulp, paper, fibre, board, tissue, non-woven and packaging industries.

It is intended to drive business transformation and increase operational efficiency and production at Asia Symbol’s mill in Rugao City, Jiangsu Province.
