US-based label and packaging supplier AutoMate Label Solutions has acquired the assets of Diverse Label Printing as part of its bankruptcy proceedings.
Based in Burlington, North Carolina, Diverse Label offers a range of labelling solutions to customers in various industries, including food, supermarkets, food processing, consumer goods, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.
As part of the transaction, AutoMate will offer label printing and automation services to Diverse Label customers.
The company will continue to operate from its headquarters in Houston, Texas, and will continue manufacturing in Burlington.
AutoMate Label Solutions CEO Ashley Mate said: “This acquisition will reinforce the foundation created by Diverse Label Printing’s history.
“Built on the strength of its employees, AutoMate looks forward to continuing its relationships with current customers as well as expanding both the customer base and product line.”

AutoMate has retained Terry Herndon to serve as the plant manager for the label division and promoted Michelle Harrelson to oversee customer service operations.
Automate chief technology officer Eric Shafer will be appointed as the head of the company’s automation division and will use expertise in embedded operating systems and manufacturing to serve the business.
The company offers various services such as design, sampling, production and customisation for labelling solutions.
