By GlobalDataThe Eyeris printing technique created a 360-degree miniature billboard with every can for on-the-shelf differentiation of Avery’s brands, including their India Pale Ale, White Rascal, Ellie’s Brown Ale and Joe’s Premium American Pilsner.
Ball claims the technique has improved the definition and detail of Avery’s beverage can graphics.
According to Ball, the expanded Graphic Center of Excellence, along with similar facilities in Europe and Asia, can leverage the advantages of the beverage can.
Ball metal beverage packaging division Americas senior vice president of sales Robert Miles said the aluminium cans offer a 360-degree billboard for brands to establish and build upon their brand message.
Recently, Ball Packaging Europe supplied Polish brewer Browar Amber with 50cl cans for its Amber Zimowy beer, one of the first winter beers on the Polish market to be sold in cans.
Ball decorated the cans with a special matt finish giving a new look to the cans to make sure the seasonal beer stands out among other products.
