Baumann Global Packaging has developed new pouch packaging and integrated cartoning systems for the transport and grouping of powders, granulates pellets and other goods.

According to Baumann, the system has an output of up to 250 sachets per minute and has a compact layout that requires minimal space, leading to a smaller footprint for reduced operating costs.

The new packaging integrates a weigh control and a metal-detection system that ensures 100% inline weigh control, and automatically ejects faulty products.

Good products are passed through an equaliser unit and are transferred to the site loading cartoning unit, which can handle single or double sachet stacks at an output of 120 cartons per minute.

The system features optional modules such as leaflet insertion, carton coding, carton rejection and an after-cartoning check weigher, and can be customised to handle various pouch sizes.
