Hybrid packaging supplier Berlin Packaging has acquired Spain’s Jurcal, which focuses on the distribution of packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and veterinary sectors.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Throughout the Iberian Peninsula, Jurcal provides specialised glass and plastic containers, together with advanced dispensers and closures, serving clients of all sizes.
The Alcobendas, Madrid-based company additionally offers sterilisation, decoration and quality control services designed for the pharmaceutical and veterinary markets.

By GlobalDataJurcal, established in 1982, is run by siblings Julián and Susana Calderón Braña, with Julián Calderón Braña acting as general manager.

The acquisition follows a string of recent deals by Berlin Packaging.
In July 2025, the company bought Italian company Cosmei, broadening its foothold in beauty and cosmetics.
Earlier in 2025, Berlin Packaging has also completed the purchase of Sarom Packaging and Romgallia in Romania.
