Berry Global has announced that its European flexible films division will soon demonstrate the latest versions of its NorDiVent form-fill-seal film and Stretch Hood film.

The demonstration will be held at the upcoming POWTECH exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, between 26 and 28 September.

The company said that the latest versions of its NorDiVent and Stretch Hood solutions now feature extra recycled content.

NorDiVent, which now includes up to 50% recycled plastic content, can be used as a reliable, waterproof, dust-free, and moisture-free solution for filling and packing different powdered products, including chemicals and construction materials.

It also features high tear resistance, preventing spillages of the products while minimising product waste throughout the supply chain.

Meanwhile, the Stretch Hood film’s latest version now includes up to 30% recycled plastic content.

Berry European flexible films business development director Neal Geryl said: “Our ability to produce products with high-performance recycled polymers not only demonstrates our technical skills but also highlights our commitment to driving progress within the plastic packaging sector.

“By incorporating recycled content into a wide variety of our products, we are proving our dedication to delivering sustainable solutions that meet the expectations of customers and regulators alike.”

According to Berry, it is developing products with recycled content to provide enhanced technical performance, consistency, traceability, and quality, allowing its customers to meet their respective sustainability goals.

The new versions are in line with the company’s B More Together initiative and affiliated 2025 sustainability strategy.

In addition, the move meets the requirements of existing and future UK and EU laws related to recycled content in plastic packaging.
