Private label tissue supplier to retailers and wholesalers Clearwater has introduced a new folding carton paperboard brand.
ReMagine is inspired by circular economy principles and is made of up to 30% post-consumer recycled fibre.
The folding carton brand offers high definition print capability and converting performance. It is currently available for the company’s customers.
Clearwater pulp and paperboard division senior vice-president and general manager Steve Bowden said: “We are excited to introduce ReMagine to our customers, with a quality standard that we believe stands apart from other folding carton options in the market.
“Our newly-branded ReMagine is an important part of Clearwater Paper’s value proposition, positioning our customers to address growing trends in sustainable packaging.”
The Food and Drug Administration compliant brand is suitable for all types of food contact.
The solid bleached sulphate (SBS) brand enhances balance of post-consumer recycled fibre and renewable virgin fibre, converting speed, and high definition print capability.
It also offers Forest Stewardship Council FSC-C008402 chain of custody certification.
The company leverages Sustana Fiber’s Envirolife 100% recycled fibre for ReMagine. The fibre has similar characteristics with non-recycled hardwood pulp.
ReMagine is expected to provide Clearwater Paper’s customers with advanced alternative for the circular economy.
Headquartered in the US, Clearwater Paper supplies private label tissue to major retailers and wholesale distributors, including grocery, drug, mass merchants and discount stores.
In March last year, the company launched a new brand of cup stock paperboard, NuVo, to its customers to cater to their specific brand needs.
