US-based producer of pouches ConservaCube has launched its ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL cube-shaped, heavy-duty, stand-up pouches with a new zipper closure option.

The pouches that can be used for packaging dry, free-flowing products will be made available in sizes from a 6in (15cm) cube to 12in x 13in x 17.5in (30.5cm x 33cm x 45cm).

The company claims that the two pouches reduce up-front packaging costs and maximise pallet loads that can help in saving freight and improving sustainability.

The four large, high-impact display panels can also improve shelf appeal and branding. These panels feature a 360° view that present strong branding opportunity while the cubic shape helps in maximising shelf space and reducing restocking.

The company also vouches for the sustainability element of the pouches as they are made of a single substrate, making them easily recyclable.

With a thickness between 4mm and 5mm, the polyethylene film can be printed with around ten colours with the use of flexographic or gravure printing to cater to the exact needs of individual customers. The company can add barrier properties to the flexible film, as needed.
