Corvaglia Group announced its plans to establish the facility in February last year with a $25m investment. The expansion is expected to create a range of advanced manufacturing jobs in Coweta County.

Commenting during the announcement, Corvaglia Closures USA president and general manager James Fisher said: “This is a major strategic step in Corvaglia’s history that positions us well to serve the US market. The Newnan, Georgia location positions us well for operational success, and the sense of community aligns with our core values.”

The company will manufacture lightweight one-piece caps and closures using in-house moulds at the new facility for the North American beverage market.
