Danafilms, a member of RKW Group and manufacturer of barrier films, has announced plans to invest $12m in its Simpson county plant in Mississippi, US, to add a new produce line.

With the new investments, Danafilms will add additional technical characteristics to its films, providing the customers with good performance products.

Danafilms general manager Alan Simoncini said the investment allows the company to expand its operations, increase its product offerings and serve new customers.

The currently 110,000ft² facility produces custom films used for packaging of products in industries such as food and beverage, industrial, lawn and garden and pet care.
