UK-based beer and lager maker Carlsberg UK has signed a distribution agreement with US-based beer maker The Brooklyn Brewery.
Carlsberg will distribute The Brooklyn Brewery’s portfolio of beer products, including Brooklyn Lager, Brooklyn Scorcher IPA and Brooklyn Summer Ale, in the UK.

The new portfolio will be managed by the House of Beers, Carlsberg’s new brand and sales division.
US-based pet foods maker Blue Buffalo Pet Products is issuing 14.3 million common stock shares as part of a sale by its existing stockholders Invus and The Bishop Family Limited Partnership.
The underwritten secondary offering closes on 16 September 2016, subject to customary closing conditions, and is advised legally by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, New York.
The joint book-running managers for the offering are J.P. Morgan Securities and Citigroup Global Markets.

By GlobalDataSpectrum Brands, a subsidiary of Spectrum Brands Holdings, has announced a senior notes placement to qualified institutional investors and non-US buyers.
Due 2020, the notes carry an interest rate of 6.37% a year and will raise gross proceeds of €375m ($421.06m) for the company.
The proceeds will be used to fund Spectrum’s credit facility and the planned repurchase of senior notes due 2020, for which the company has already made a cash offer.
Spectrum Brands is a consumer products company based in Atlanta, US.
