Constellation Brands intends to submit a proposal to the US Department of Justice to acquire a brewery located in Obregon from Grupo Modelo, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev SA / NV.

The $600m deal will increase production capacity that will complement Constellation’s Mexican beer portfolio.
