US-based Fishery Products International, a division of High Liner Foods, has converted its corrugated case masters to manufacture sustainable packaging made from 100% recycled fibres.

The new packaging, which carries the Eco-Advance Certification logo, is made recycled fibres that have been sorted and processed to remove any contaminants or metals.

Fishery Products International logo and the accompanying blue banner have also been printed using water-based, metal-free inks, which do not change the structural integrity of the packaging.

The new packaging material is being produced through a partnership of Maritime Paper Products; Scotia Recycling and Minas Basin in Nova Scotia.
