Laiterie Saint-Denis-de-l'Hôtel (LSDH) subsidiary Jus de Fruits d’Alsace has purchased a Contiform AseptBloc moulder from Krones.

Installed at Jus de Fruits d’Alsace facility in Sarre-Union, France, the new machine features an aseptic blow-moulder, which is part of a blow-moulder / filler block.

The block enables the production of containers in the aseptic blow-moulder and fills them in aseptic mode, following preform decontamination using gaseous hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).

Designed to produce 30,000 bottles per hour, the newly installed machine can be used to pack fruit juices, smoothies and fruit squashes in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.

The Contiform AseptBloc also features a hygiene centre, which allows Jus de Fruits d’Alsace to save water, chemicals and energy.

"The newly installed machine can be used to pack fruit juices, smoothies and fruit squashes in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles."

Jus De Fruits D'alsace offers fruit and vegetable juices, as well as conditioners in glass bottles, plastic (PET) bottles and cardboard bricks.

With 13,346 employees worldwide, Krones develops and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process, filling and packaging technology.

Germany’s Pott’s Brewery recently purchased a Linatronic empty-bottle inspector and a ModulCheck rubber seal monitor from Krones.

The installation will improve Pott’s 24,000bph filling line for swing-stopper bottles, as well as enhance the quality of its contract-bottling products for beer and beer-based mixed drinks.
