HP has announced the launch of its Indigo WS6600 Digital Press for packaging applications.

The press features a new in-line priming unit and can print more than 40 linear metres per minute in full colour.

Other features include an improved white ink option and new solutions for managing the complete digital production of labels and packaging, the company claims.

The company has also introduced a new solution for digital labels, the HP Indigo WS4600 Digital Press, with an option for full-colour throughput of more than 21 linear metres per minute.
