US-based food packaging container producer Inline Plastics has announced an expansion of its facilities in Salt Lake City, Utah, and McDonough, Georgia.

The company will add 47,000ft² to the Salt Lake City facility and has already completed the installation of a roll-fed thermoforming machine and attendant support equipment.

The plant now has 156,000ft² of manufacturing and warehousing space.

Inline also plans to make several extensions to its Safe-T-Fresh product line, on which it is set to produce new grab-and-go foodservice containers.

The Georgia facility, which consists of a combined 158,000ft² of manufacturing and warehousing space, will be fitted with a thermoforming production line that will double the facility’s capacity to produce the Safe-T-Fresh tamper evident line of containers.
