Premier flexographic and digital printing company Inovar Packaging has strengthened its position in the Midwest with the acquisition of US firm Tabco.
The acquisition was completed in collaboration with the current Tabco management team.
The transaction will support the company’s strategic growth plan and to develop a prime label and flexible packaging business in North America.
Founded in 1957, Tabco serves the pet food, agrichemical, food and beverage, personal care, and industrial sectors.
Kubicki said: “I am very proud to join forces with the Inovar team. The cultural fit and strategic focus on customers, employees, and partners cemented my belief that Inovar is the right partner for our business.
“Inovar’s scale and broad capabilities will allow us to continue building our market-leading position and achieve our future growth objectives by delivering additional product offerings to our valued customer base and helping to build in critical operational redundancies.”
In addition, the acquisition will complement Inovar’s manufacturing presence in Dallas, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The two companies did not disclose financial details of the acquisition.
Following the acquisition, Tabco president Gene Kubicki will continue to lead the Tabco platform.
Inovar Packaging executive chairman Jeff Brezek said: “We are extremely excited to have Tabco join the Inovar family.
“Co-owners Gene and John Kubicki have built a dynamic culture of customer focus, innovation, and outstanding service with an amazing team of people. They are a fantastic addition to the Inovar platform.”
Last month, Inovar completed its acquisition of Flexo-Graphics (FG) in Butler, Wisconsin, in partnership with Management.
