Premier flexographic and digital printing company Inovar Packaging has strengthened its position in the Midwest with the acquisition of US firm Tabco.

The acquisition was completed in collaboration with the current Tabco management team.

The transaction will support the company’s strategic growth plan and to develop a prime label and flexible packaging business in North America.

Founded in 1957, Tabco serves the pet food, agrichemical, food and beverage, personal care, and industrial sectors.

In addition, the acquisition will complement Inovar’s manufacturing presence in Dallas, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The two companies did not disclose financial details of the acquisition.

Following the acquisition, Tabco president Gene Kubicki will continue to lead the Tabco platform.
