US-based polymer manufacturer Kraton is planning to showcase its speciality products at PLASTINDIA 2018, which is scheduled to take place later this month in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.

In addition to polymers, Kraton also manufactures styrenic block copolymers, speciality polymers and performance products produced from pine wood pulping co-products.

Kraton senior vice-president and polymer segment president Holger Jung said: “India is a key market for Kraton, and we are committed to delivering exceptional value to the region.

Kraton will be targeting paving and roofing sector with its Highly Modified Asphalt (HiMA), which is claimed to offer a longer lasting pavement and roof design.

Its polymer modifications products are said to have designed for the thermoplastic modification, while its compounding solutions can be used to formulate TPE compounds in a variety of applications.

In the medical sector, Kraton will be presenting its advanced engineered synthetic elastomers that will address health concerns from plasticizers and resolve Type I allergies caused by natural rubber.
