
US-based KushCo Holdings has joined the global brands tier in the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC).
KushCo is a leading supplier of packaging and containers for the cannabis industry.
The company will develop and employ environmentally friendly packaging solutions to meet its product and customers’ demands.
KushCo Holdings CEO Nick Kovacevich said: “This initiative further demonstrates our commitment to developing sustainable packaging solutions for the cannabis supply chain.

By GlobalDataKovacevich also noted that the company’s team of designers and engineers from its Koleto Packaging Solutions brand will develop marketable products for this initiative.
Kovacevich added: “We look forward to working with the SPC and its members to collaborate and determine how we can reduce our environmental impact.”
KushCo Holdings was established in 2010 and operates brands such as Kush Supply, Kush Energy, and The Hybrid Creative.
Kush Supply is a sales platform and a distributor of packaging, supplies, and accessories, while Koleto Packaging is a research and development arm.
SPC is a membership-based collaborative that promotes sustainable packaging solutions. Other members of the SPC include The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s, Mars, Incorporated, Procter and Gamble, Starbucks Coffee, United Parcel Service (UPS), and Walmart.
