UK-based Len Wright Salads has selected the Posie Packer poly bag labelling machine to apply labels to the produce bags used for its hothouse lettuce, curly lettuce and celery.

The machine, imported from Canada where Posie Packer is based, can apply two labels on the same cycle and reducing labour costs of applying the mandated labels.

The firm said poly bags will help the company to adopt an environmentally friendly and low-cost method to package produce.

The machine also allows for the convenient application of time-sensitive and promotional labels amongst others.
