Birra del Borgo is to be acquired by Belgian brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).
The Italian brewery will operate independently and its founder Leonardo Di Vincenzo will continue as the CEO.

Bunge’s subsidiary Bunge Deutschland has entered an agreement with Peter Cremer Holding GmbH & Co. KG (Cremer Group) to acquire a stake in Walter Rau Neusser Oll und Fett AG (WRAG).
Upon completion of the acquisition, Bunge Deutschland will become a majority shareholder in WRAG by acquiring a 62.8% stake in the company. It is subject to receiving customary closing clearance.
Bunge, an agribusiness and food company, plans to use the proceeds to enhance its product portfolio.

By GlobalDataA merger agreement between the American Bakers Association (ABA) and The Biscuit and Cracker Manufacturers’ Association (B&CMA) is expected to be completed by 30 June 2017.
The two companies hope to strengthen their operations as a result of the merger.
The programmes offered by B&CMA will be integrated within ABA, while its technical conference and online learning programmes will continue to operate under its own name.
B&CMA’s leadership team will merge with ABA’s as part of the agreement.
