The ‘We CAN Protect the Future’ initiative, which was launched last month, aims to encourage recycling among citizens and calls for parents to take actions in protecting the environment.

As part of the programme, collection points have been installed at six HKTVmall O2O shops across the city. Participants can deposit cleaned formula cans from all brands at the points.

A specialised delivery team will transport collected cans from HKTVmall O2O shops to a local recycling plant where they will be destroyed.

These are then transported to another facility to undergo additional processing.

Recycled metal will be used for various purposes, including raw metal materials for construction.

Reckitt Hong Kong, Taiwan and Cross-Border general manager Pankaj Agarwal said: “Reckitt is driven by its purpose to do the right things always. As one of our core brands, Mead Johnson also upholds this mission.

The programme will be active every Monday and Wednesday from 7 April to 30 June.

Participating parents can earn HKTVmall e-vouchers as rewards that can be used for online purchases.
